Neal goes through complete instruction on what incense is, how to make it and the philosophies behind it. He then moves to the meat of this wonderful volume, talking about form, composition, how-to, materials and so forth. He teaches how to safely experiment with new blends of your own, exclusives and substitutions as well as the importance of journal keeping, while you play.     This volume offers you dozens of recipes so that you can create the perfect blend, easy conversion tables for the most precise incense maker and tips on the magickal properties of scent to aid you in your spiritual practices.

When wrapping it up after all this isn't enough, Neal goes on to do a "troubleshooting" section for catching the possible problems, etc. A truly complete book on the ins and outs of incense. A must have for any crafty paganite.
